Weekend Plans *UPDATED: August 29th Greetings on this blue sky Sunday! I am sorry to inform you that the Drop Zone will NOT be opening today, due to winds being up.
Also keep in keep in mind, the Drop Zone, will NOT be opening this next weekend. Couch Freaks starts this Wed in Iowa and goes the entire weekend. Just a reminder :) Have a great week! Weekend Plans *UPDATE: August 28th & 29th
Hello all, today started off a great day. We got 2 loads up, at the end of the second load, winds were gusting 5 straight to 19 mph. The dropzone will be closed the rest of today.
As of now the winds are to be fairly high tomorrow. It has been mentioned that we may not open the dropzone due to this issue. Call out to the dz before you head out! PLEASE!

Weekend Plans: August 28th & 29th
Hello all you outgoing thrill chasers! Summer is coming to an end, classes are starting, but the Skydive Club of Kstate is not going anywhere! This weekend Saturday the doors will be open at 8am and Sunday at 8am. So come on out! Catch some wind, hang out with some awesome people, learn as much as you can, or schedule a tandem! Just get out there!
Upcoming to plan ahead for, Couch Freaks starts at noon Wed September 1st in Iowa, so we will be CLOSED over Labor Day weekend . If you would like to get jumps in please, please come out this weekend !
New jump classes are forming, so get yourself signed up, take charge, and become a part of one amazing group of people! If jumping solo is not for you just yet, than do a tandem! We offer tandems almost every weekend, but try to always schedule ahead of time. If you're interested, please contact our tandem scheduler by email at artur@ksu.edu or if it is the day of, call the Drop Zone at 785-456-8860. Each tandem jump costs $185 and DVD with Stills can be added for $85. (*Note** we cannot guarantee same day jumps if you call late in the day.)
A couple new things to know before you head out to the Drop Zone and keep in mind:
**WARNING** If you have a balance with KSUPC you will not be able to jump until this is taken care of! Thanks!
**WE WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING CREDIT CARDS, DEBIT CARDS, effective immediately! Checks and cash only please.**

Weekend Review: August 21st & 22nd
Hello to all! Here is the great weekend wrap up for August 21st & 22nd... It was an eventful weekend I tell ya! The wonderful Nic Nesbihal made her 100th jump & our outspoken favorite Adam Greer made his 500th jump! Congrats you two!
Ending the night off Nathan Henry, Jay Robbins, Tom Nesbihal, Martin Brand, & Nicole Nesbihal all made their first night jumps! WOW! Grats to everyone! Also had several tandems this fullfilled weekend. Great Turnout everyone! BlueSkies

Hello to all the wonderful people! This weekend looks to be a good one. Saturday doors will be open at 8am. Gonna be a hot day bring lots of water! Sunday doors are open at 9am. Looks like a small chance of rain, but hey this is Kansas, yes? Call if you have any doubts, before you head out to the dropzone. Come on out and get jumps in, hang with some wonderful people, and learn new things!

Weekend Review: August 7th & 8th
Was a great weekend, very hot! Wonderful student weekend, with lots of progress. Had lots of skydivers out. Isaac Doolittle made his first freefall! Congrats!

Looks to be a **HOT** weekend coming up again. So get in your vehicle and drive on down to the DropZone, get packed, and on a load to feel the wind in your face.
